Thanks to a meeting 10 days ago at Hockenheim, I’ll race for 8H at Le Castellet this weekend, on Formula Le Mans n°48 (Team Hope Pole Vision) among the 45 cars of Le Mans Series (LMP1 as Audi R15, Peugeot 908, Lola Aston Martin,… and some drivers asT.Kristensen, G.Fiscichela, J.Alesi, O.Panis or N.Mansell !).

Great thanks to Benoît to trust me (Hope Pole Vision Team Manager).

I’ll race with 2 experimented teamate : Mathias BESCHE et Christophe PILLON (Formula Le Mans class).

Program :

Friday 9 = Free Practice 1 (12:40-13:40), Free Practice 2 (16:10-17:10)

Saturday 10 = Free Practice 3 (09:45-10:45), Qualifications (14:10-14:30)

Sunday 11 = Warmup (08:20-08:40), Race (11:00-19:00)

I came back from Lapland where I’ve worked on Ice Driving School. Wonderfull.

Program: huge plane area to teach the basis (spliping, call cons call,…), great circles to 1km / 400m in diameter (non-stop drift over 100km/h), 1.8km technical tracks (goal : never stop to slip) and finaly the 3,8km version Castellet track (énorgreatme!), all with good cars (BMW, Porsche, Mistubishi Lancer), incredible landscape and especially a good staff.

On February 4, at the press conference (listing of the 55 cars entered the 24 Hours of Le Mans), Automobile Club de l’Ouest has presented the new car for the driving school : a Pescarolo-Le Mans ”school” prototype.

Carbon châssis, 6.3L Chevrolet V8 (from 200 to 360 hp), 850kg , … enjoy !

After last meeting (Motorland-Spain) William has finished at the 3° place of the championship..
Conclusion : 5 podiums / 9 races finished (3 wins – 2 poles – 1 Best Lap – 1 record lap)
(5 unresponsive abort – mechanics, pileup…).
Next season will take place in Germany for William (Formula Adac).

After a first success gain at Spa in july, an A-level obtain at the beginning of the week, William has confirmed this weekend at Magny-Cours :

2 poles positions, 2 wins and a fastest lap. A great weekend wich allow us to we take the 2nd place at championship. A nice 18 years old present (today!)

RDV at Monza (2 weeks) to continue our work.

Last weekend, William with whom I work since 1 year won his first victory on the legendary track of SPA FRANCORCHAMPS.

A good meeting (twice qualified in first row and 2 podiums – 1st and 2nd).

Work begin to pay. Good job William !

I’ve been lucky to test 2 cars during LM STORY OFFICIAL TEST.

First, Porsche 914: unusual look, maybe not so much powerfull but very well balanced.

Then, BMW M1 ProCar: 6 cylinders, more than 400 hp, … an uncredible car, fantastic sound and so much effetive on track. A car that is almost 30 years and nothing to envy in many cars’ modern ‘.
